After breaking off her engagement, 22-year-old Clover Weatherby moves to London to stay with her older cousin, fashion designer Olivia Foxe. Olivia is a sensualist, as are most of her friends, but Clover soon finds that she fits right in, and is extremely popular at Olivia`s hedonistic parties. However, Olivia is having some financial problems and when Clover accidentally loses her an important contract, she must make amends. Clover becomes a slave to Francis, Olivia`s rich and powerful friend, a move which secures his support for Olivia.
